At Sella, you can edit your item’s listing at any time including the title, description, and pricing. After submitting your changes, we'll update your marketplace listings within 1–2 days.

To edit your listing, simply follow the link provided in your email, and make sure to save your changes when complete.

How to approve your listing

At Sella we handle all aspects of the selling process for you, including creating a high quality listing for your item. When a draft of your listing is ready, you’ll receive a notification via email.

Log in to your Sella account and review the listing carefully to ensure we are representing your item accurately. This will help us sell your item faster to a buyer who will keep it. You can edit any part of the listing including the title, description, and pricing strategy — or just tap to approve it.

You can return to the item listing page at any time to make edits, and they will be incorporated the next time your listing is refreshed, typically within 1-2 days.

What happens while my ad is up

Once your ad is live, our team of selling experts continues to work hard to give your item the best shot at selling within 30 days, at the highest possible price.

We do this by:

1. Being professional when communicating with potential buyers.
2. Responding to all inquiries in a timely manner.
3. Refreshing listings every 2–3 days to stay at the top of results.
4. Recording below market offers and recommending a price adjustment, if appropriate.
5. Reviewing your listing, as needed.

Our buyer return policy, also known as the 3-day money-back guarantee, is an important part of ensuring customer satisfaction. The money-back guarantee specifically applies to any item that was misrepresented in the listing — it does not cover returns for any reason.

Some examples of what we would consider to be a misrepresented listing:

• An iPad advertised with “excellent battery life,” but the battery runs down in 15 minutes.
• A scooter advertised as “good working condition,” but has a wheel that wobbles, even after tightening.

Some examples where a return request would be denied:

• The buyer doesn’t like it as much in person as they did in the photos.
• The buyer’s spouse bought them an iPad the day after purchasing your old one.
• The ad said “battery needs to be replaced” but the buyer did not read the ad carefully.
